Athasa Collaborative’s mission is to help people establish new roots, by their direction, into a space that they can call home. In partnership with local housing nonprofits, thrift stores, and creative entrepreneurs interested in supporting unsheltered communities in Seattle, Boston, and beyond. Through a trauma-informed design lens, the aim is to design with the client, not just for them, so that their autonomy and creativity is uplifted. The collaboration extends to all sides, supporting organizations doing the amazing direct work in the community so their space enhances their own well-being, too.
